ENTREPRENEURSHIPGENDERYOUTH

The United Nations Development Programme and The Behavioural Insights Team

This toolkit helps development practitioners design and test behaviourally-informed initiatives so they can boost youth and women’s entrepreneurship outcomes in emerging economies.

Created by:
UNDP’s Regional Innovation Team (Arab States) with the Behavioural Insights Team (2022).

What’s inside:
A guide outlining five key stages of a BI project for entrepreneurship, from selecting a target behaviour and understanding barriers, to designing, prototyping, and piloting an intervention. It provides practical worksheets, activity templates, and real examples from 10 UNDP country projects in the MENA region (e.g. improving startup program uptake among women) to illustrate each stage.
